SJE Rhombus launches new potable water control switch

DETROIT LAKES, Minnesota (Sep. 30, 2019) – SJE Rhombus recently released its newest product, the SJE MilliAmpMaster™ WPS potable water control switch. This switch offers reliable low current control for AC and DC applications in potable water applications.

Product Features

The SJE MilliAmpMaster™ WPS control switch is CSA Certified to meet NSF/ANSI 61 standard for use in potable water. It is approved for use in tanks of 250 US gallons (950L) in volume or greater per float.

The internal switching mechanism has sealed gold cross-point contacts for reliable low current operation. This float is made for low current applications down to 0.160 mA at 125 VAC. The float housing is made with high impact, corrosion resistant polypropylene. The orange colored cap makes it easy to identify. It features 3 wire cable — SPDT (Single Pole Double Throw) — that can be wired as normally open or normally closed. This narrow angle control float switch activates/deactivates at approximately 1.5” (3.81 cm) above and below horizontal with a 3.5” (9 cm) tether. It is not sensitive to rotation.

Common applications include PLC (programmable logic controller) panels, low current solar applications and other low current control panels and alarms in potable water applications. This product is covered by SJE Rhombus’ industry-leading five-year limited warranty.
