| SJE-Rhombus®, the North American water and wastewater controls leader, provides you with The Ceramic Advantage™: C-MBR™ components and control solutions. C-MBR™ Process The Ceramic Membrane BioReactor (C-MBR™) process integrates a conventional biological activated sludge process with a ceramic membrane filtration replacing secondary clarification. The ceramic membranes are submerged in the activated sludge and the treated water is removed through vacuum pumps creating a light suction pressure on the membranes. Robust Ceramic Membrane: - 10-year limited warranty and 20-year estimated life expectancy - Submerged membrane with low operating TMP (50-100 mbar) - Thermal resistance to 60°C/140°F - Resistant to caustic chemicals and abrasive media - Membranes able to withstand steam cleaning or power spraying - Membranes can be wet and dry without damage to membrane Ecomonic Benefits: - Priced competitively with polymeric membranes (lifetime costs) - Economic benefit of water reuse for irrigation and other purposes - Small footprint saves land required and buidling costs -Modular design allows for future treatment plant expansion - Design is suitable for retrofitting existing treatment plants - Components are suitable to be integrated into a mobile package plant Stable Operation & High Treatment Performance: - Treated water is suitable for water reuse applications - .20 micron pore size with unique ceramic filtration surface layer - Automated permeate back flushing; and detergent assisted Clean-In-Place (CIP) - Flux rate of 25-30 l/m˛/hr; or 15/18 gfd Learn more about the SJE-Rhombus Controls Advantage | |||
