SJE-Rhombus®, Detroit Lakes, and Teamworks, Inc., Park Rapids, were recently awarded a $228,248 grant by the Minnesota Job Skills Partnership for customized employee training. SJE-Rhombus held a special celebration on Wednesday, February 14, 2007 at the SJE-Rhombus manufacturing facility in Detroit Lakes to promote this training program.
SJE-Rhombus and Teamworks will work together using this grant to implement advanced control panel training to 120 SJE-Rhombus employees in four areas: technical training, hand tools, equipment and process, systems and panels. This training will provide SJE-Rhombus’ workforce with a foundation on which the company plans to continue growing domestic and international control panel sales.
Founded in 1975, SJE-Rhombus manufactures control panels, alarm systems, printed circuit boards, and float switches for a wide variety of water, wastewater, and industrial applications. SJE-Rhombus control products can be found in residential, commercial, industrial and municipal markets. The company is 100% employee-owned.
